There’s no doubt that work feels shaky right now—layoffs, AI, and rising pressure to perform have left you feeling undervalued, and unsure what’s next.
After years of climbing the corporate ladder and doing “what you were supposed to do”, you wonder why you’ve been working so hard for something you don’t even want.
You don’t want to start over but you also can’t ignore the pull toward a different way to work—an easeful life full of impact, schedule flexibility, and freedom.
The good news is: you don’t have to choose one thing. You can start small, experiment, and create a career that fits you.
In this program, you’ll launch a career experiment alongside others exploring their next step. By the end of 7 weeks, you’ll get clarity by gathering real data you can use to trust that a leap could actually work out.
You’re curious, creative, and multi-dimensional.
You also have a million ideas of what you could do, which makes it’s hard to decide which path feels right.
And, while you want work that has meaning, you fall victim to scrolling on LinkedIn, applying to the same jobs you’ve held before because of the paycheck or because you don’t know anyone else choosing something different.
Just Start is where you test the concepts you’ve been sitting on by gathering the info you need to gain clarity and intentionally plan your next step.
What we’ll do together:
Design your career experiment: Learn how to pick a high-potential career experiment that aligns with your unique interests and skills.
Gather real data: Run your experiment in the real world by talking to potential leads and conducting your own market research.
Create your first offer: Launch your first offer, land your first client, and get valuable insights about what you need to modify for the future.

We’ll meet weekly over 7 weeks. The next beta cohort will begin in mid-February and will be open to 10 people in this next round.

The itinerary
Week 1: Nail your positioning
Create a positioning statement that anchors in your why and positions your “multi-passionate” nature as an asset.
Week 2: Design your career experiment
Map out your career experiment by clearly defining who you want to work with and how you can uniquely help them.
Week 3: Launch a survey (async)
Replace assumptions with data and start gathering interest by launching a survey to your network.
Week 4: Perform market research calls (async)
Conduct market research calls that you’ll use to craft your messaging and position your offer.
Week 5: Create your freebie
Translate the data you’ve gathered into clear messaging and test it by offering free value through a free workshop, email series, one-pager (or something else!).
Week 6: Craft your paid beta offer
Create your first paid offer as a beta (this takes the pressure off of making it perfect) and get feedback from Maggie on positioning, pricing, and launch strategy.
Week 7+: Launch & refinement
Move from idea to income by sharing your beta offer (scary, I know!). Leverage the Slack channel to get support and share feedback, wins, and roadblocks post-launch.

The nitty gritty details
We’ll meet weekly over 7 weeks with a two break to give you space to gather data.
5 weekly group community calls: We’ll use most of this time for live workshopping of your career experiment, data you’ve gathered, offerings, and whatever else is in your way.
3 async pre-recorded lessons: Watch these lessons at your own pace, so we can spend our calls in discussion.
A 2 week break to gather data on your own time: You’ll have two weeks where you’ll do the work. Make an outreach list, conduct market research, and bring back what you’re hearing to the group.
Structured outreach templates and interview guides: I’ll make it easy for you to figure out what to do step by step.
A 30 minute messaging and offer review meeting with Maggie: Submit what you’re working on in advance, and we’ll walk through it during a live call where we’ll go through my feedback.
Matched with an accountability buddy: Get paired with a buddy who you’ll meet with 1:1 and check in with over the course of the program.
Lifetime access to your cohort via a community in Slack:
Weekly exercises, challenges and homework to move you forward: Each week, you’ll hear from me in Slack and receive homework to help you stay accountable with your career experiment.

Hello, I’m Maggie! If you don’t know me already, I’ve pivoted my career from Consulting to Product Marketing to a portfolio career. I host events, plan retreats, host on Airbnb, and help others build a fulfilling career and life.
When I was in corporate, I struggled trying to figure out what I wanted to do next. After I started experimenting, it gave me the confidence I needed to do bigger things, like buy a house, quit my job, start a business, and launch this cohort.
